Continued warming into the weekend

A ridge of high pressure remains in place over Southern California. This will lead to continued warming for the Coachella Valley over the coming days.

An area of low pressure will move through the Southland early next week. While rain chances have slowly been diminished, wet weather cannot be ruled out for the desert. Any accumulation will be light, likely not exceeding a tenth of an inch.

Overall our forecast continues to have plenty of nice weather in store. Some additional clouds may move in as we approach next week, but skies remain largely clear. Daily highs will keep climbing into the weekend, with a cooldown early next week as the low pressure moves in.
