Vegetation fire burns 936 acres north of Big Bear Lake

BIG BEAR, Calif. (KESQ) - A vegetation fire that broke out Monday morning has burned nearly 350 acres near Big Bear Lake.

The fire was reported at around 9:15 a.m. in Holcomb Valley, north of the lake.

The fire had grown to 30 acres just before 11 a.m. A few minutes later, there were reports that the fire had burned about 100 acres, however, the San Bernardino National Forest said it was at 80 acres.
