One person injured from fire at a Cathedral City Mobile Home Park

A fire that broke out Monday in a single-wide mobile home in Cathedral City left one person hospitalized with moderate injuries and left two others without a place to stay.

The fire was reported at around noon Monday at Tramview Mobile Home Park, near Perez Road, according to the Cathedral City Fire Department.

The agency said crews at the scene encountered a mobile home fully involved in fire, and it was knocked down within about five to 10 minutes after arrival. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
