Expect some quick moving thunderstorms today

A line of strong storms moving through SoCal will pass through the Valley early this afternoon before clearing into the evening. A strong area of low pressure is curling through the Los Angeles basin this morning, and will move inland into the afternoon.

A quilt of watches and warnings for gusty winds, flooding potential, and air quality impacts remain in effect through this evening in many areas.

The best chance of storms for the Valley will be in the early afternoon, so make sure you're prepared!

Rainfall totals will be higher in the West Valley, but still we're only expecting 0.20" or less of rainfall as these storms move in and out fairly quickly.

The storms will clear out quickly, and skies will clear out. We'll enjoy cooler-than-normal temps through the weekend.
