Temperatures climb to just above seasonal this weekend

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) – It's been another pleasantly sunny day across the desert this beautiful Saturday. Highs have steadily been climbing to just above seasonal and weather remains calm into the early parts of the workweek.

So far, it's been a perfect day to spend by the poolside. Here's a look at our Westin Rancho Mirage camera which showed plenty of folks doing just that just after 3 o'clock.

Tomorrow, winds remain calm and our moisture stays dry. Highs will be in the low 90s. Our average for tomorrow's date is right at 90°, so we'll likely be a hair above seasonal.

Looking at the extended temperature outlook, highs look to be right around seasonal about 6-10 days from now, too.

Daytime highs are pretty consistent as we work our way through next week. They stay slightly above average before a low pressure system knocks the temperatures down into the mid-80s – but that's short-lived. We'll climb back toward the upper 80s and low 90s again by next weekend. We're keeping an eye on another system coming from the Pacific Northwest next Saturday/Sunday, but right now, it's too far to tell if that could bring more rainfall to SoCal. Stay tuned!
