80s Return with Breezes Mid Week, 90s Back this Weekend
Mostly clear skies tonight across the Coachella Valley, with mild overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. A trough of low pressure moving into the West Coast will tighten the pressure gradient Wednesday, increasing our gusty west winds--especially through the San Gorgonio Pass and desert slopes.
Daytime highs dip just slightly midweek, into the lower to mid-80s, which is just a touch cooler than recent days. However, winds will ease up Thursday as upper-level flow turns more zonal, keeping temperatures pretty consistent.
By Friday and through the weekend, high pressure rebuilds across the Desert Southwest, bringing some lighter winds, plenty of sunshine and a warming trend. Expect highs to climb back into the low 90s by this weekend, if not by Friday.
Cooler conditions return early next week as another low pressure system approaches the west coast, possibly, POSSIBLY providing a chance for showers by midweek.
