Tracking singifcantly warm temperatures

Good morning. It's a cool and clear start to the end of the weekend. Highs will continue to warm bit by bit with every day as a steady warming trend settles in. It will be dry and calm today as afternoon high temperatures rise to the mid to upper 70s.

Looking ahead, we are expecting some highs significantly above the seasonal average. How much? At least 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit above average! We can see that on our extended forecast, as there are some very dark, warm colors on the map for Southern California.

As previously mentioned, highs will warm into the 80s this week. Expect the mid-upper 80s by the mid to end of this upcoming workweek.
