Tracking warm weather for the forseeable future

It's another warm and mild day here in the Coachella Valley. High pressure is dominating much of the West. This high pressure is allowing temperatures to consistently reach above the seasonal average. For reference, the average high temperature for this time of year is 69°F. Here in the desert, we can expect mostly sunny skies, dry conditions, and little wind over the foreseeable future.

Across the region, warm temperatures are the name of the game. Even our extended forecast continues to indicate highs above the seasonal average for all of Southern California (6-10 days from now). Despite this, temperatures remain moderate and comfortable region-wide. If you have local travel plans this weekend, no major weather concerns are expected.

As mentioned previously, high pressure continues to dominate Southern California. This is keeping our high temperatures consistently warmer than usual. We should expect highs in the 80s locally for the foreseeable future with mostly sunny skies.
