Few Clouds & Mild to Start Week Before Warming Trend

Pleasant and mild conditions to kick off the work week across the Coachella Valley today, with some lingering high clouds clearing and locally gusty east winds near our mountain passes and slopes. Winds will ease in the mountains tonight, but set us up for one of the cooler nights of the week with lows dropping into the 40s.

High pressure will build in through midweek, bringing mostly sunny skies and a nice warming trend. By Friday and Saturday, highs are expected to climb into the lower to mid 80s, around 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year.

Our ridge of high pressure may weaken slightly late in the weekend into early next week, allowing for a small cooling, but dry and generally warm conditions will likely continue.
