Warm Monday Gives Way to a Cooler, Breezier Week

After a nice and warm Monday, cooler conditions are expected across the Coachella Valley for the rest of the week, with temperatures gradually dipping into the low to mid 70s.

Increasing onshore flow will bring some breezier conditions, with gusty winds developing Tuesday afternoon and peeking into Wednesday. Strongest winds will be to our north with a Wind Advisory in place for the San Bernadino County Mountains.

While most of this week stays dry in the valley, a system moving through Wednesday will bring periods of light rain to our west.  Currently we're only looking at about a 10-15% chance and amounts in the valley would be very limited.

Skies may remain mostly cloudy the next few days, helping keep daytime highs in the 70s through midweek.

Conditions turn drier and a bit warmer Friday and Saturday as weak high pressure briefly builds in. Another shift toward cooler, unsettled weather is possible early next week, with better chances for rain and gusty winds next Monday and Tuesday.
