Los Angeles school shooting leaves one student in critical condition
Update: One victim is in critical condition, according to the Associated Press. Five total victims were injured during the incident.

Two students — a male and a female — were shot today at Salvador Castro Middle School in the Westlake district, and a young woman, possibly a student was arrested.
The female victim, believed to be 15, was hit in the wrist and the male, also 15, in the head, according to reports from the scene.
A third victim was reported to have been hit by shrapnel.
The shooter’s weapon has been recovered, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District Police Department.
The middle school shares a campus with Belmont High School.
