Businesses in the Coachella Valley and around California are wrapping up their first month of recreational marijuana sales.

More than a dozen licensed dispensaries in Palm Springs, Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs have been selling adult-use cannabis since sales started in California Jan. 1.
