Indio man accused of lewd acts due in court today

An Indio man who was arrested for allegedly committing a lewd act on a minor is due in court today. Ezequiel Gonzales-Vega, 30, pleaded not guilty at his initial arraignment, and appeared in court at 9 a.m. for a pretrial conference in the Brawley West Courtroom, according to the Imperial County deputy District Attorney.

Gonzales-Vega faces charges which include contacting a minor with intent to commit a felony, sending harmful matter to seduce a minor, and meeting a minor at an arranged location for lewd acts with a child under the age of 14.

He is being held in Imperial County jail on $100,000 bail
