CV’s Ryan Rumsey earns play of the week honors for Week 4 of high school football

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- Coachella Valley senior wide receiver Ryan Rumsey has earned play of the week honors for Week 4 of high school football after receiving the most votes over the weekend.

Rumsey caught a pass and broke a pair of tackles on his way to scoring a touchdown against Palo Verde Valley on Friday night.

Despite the highlight-reel score, Coachella Valley lost 61-23 and remains winless at 0-3 to start the season.

Rumsey's touchdown provided a bright spot for the Arabs, earning him Play of the Week honors for Week 4.
