Opening date set for One More Bite Dumpling House in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) - After a long wait, there is finally an opening date set for the highly anticipated One More Bite Dumpling House in Palm Desert.

The restaurant announced a soft opening on Thursday, November 12, 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM.

One More Bite Dumpling House is located at 73547 Highway 111, in the Jensen's shopping center near San Pablo Avenue.

One More Bite Dumpling House told News Channel 3's Garrett Hottle last month that a draftsman's fake paperwork stalled its Palm Desert and Palm Springs openings.

"Thank you for your patience — we know you've been waiting a long time, and we're so grateful you stuck with us. And to everyone who stopped by or messaged us again and again asking when we're opening: thank you for your support and for loving us. Every question reminded us why we're doing this," reads a post on the restaurant's Instagram page. "This journey hasn't been easy, and we couldn't have gotten here without the incredible support from the City of Palm Desert team, who worked with us every step of the way to make this opening possible."

The message continued, "Thank you for understanding, and for believing in us. We can't wait to finally welcome you in."

There's no word on when the location in downtown Palm Springs could open. It will be located at 121 S Palm Canyon Drive.
