Local family celebrates relative’s 75th birthday while social distancing
The coronavirus isn't stopping a Palm Springs family from celebrating their relative's 75th birthday, however, social distancing played a major role in celebrations.
The Mazzottie family stopped by their relative's patio so they could sing happy birthday at a safe distance.
The family says because of their Hispanic heritage, they are extremely family orientated and just wanted to do something special for her.
One granddaughter says they would usually throw a party for her grandma under normal circumstances but today she is just thankful for the chance to see her grandma.
