The Warming Trend is Upon Us

Sunny skies and highs that will be warmer than the last few days are all hallmarks of today's forecast. Highs will be closer to our seasonal norms, in the mid-nineties.

A weak area of low pressure will pass to our North tomorrow, enhancing winds at the surface, and keeping our highs in check in those mid-nineties through Saturday.

Winds will top out with gusts in the 20-25mph range Friday afternoon and evening, so anticipate breezy conditions into Saturday morning.

Once the low moves out of NorCal, we'll see highs jump as high pressure takes over for the Memorial Day weekend. Daytime temps will climb into the triple digits Sunday, and continue to heat up through the middle of next week.

Chief Meteorologist Haley Clawson will update those numbers this evening at 5 and 6, so be sure to follow our changing forecast.
