10-acre fire near Morongo Valley is 75% contained

Cal Fire San Bernardino firefighters have nearly fully contained a 10-acre wildfire that burned between Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley Tuesday afternoon.

According to Cal Fire, the fire is burning on Scholl Drive and Highway 62, in the community of Palm Wells.

Several residents around the area have reported seeing smoke and helicopters in the area.
