Republican headquarters in La Quinta closed due to vandalism

The Republican headquarters/Trump Store in La Quinta has been closed after the building was vandalized over the weekend.

Some of the windows have been boarded up and there was still broken glass outside the building.

Joy Miedecke, president of the East Valley Republic Women Federated, told News Channel 3 said the vandalism occurred sometime around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday. Miedecke said no one was injured.

The headquarters will remain closed for a couple of days. Miedecke asks that anyone who wants to go to the headquarters call in ahead of time before heading over. Their number is (714) 357-4373
