PSPD: “No indication” that Palm Springs death was murder
Update: 2/7/18 – 4:23 p.m.
There is “no indication” that this case was a murder according to Sgt. Hutchinson of the Palm Springs Police Department.
“Right now there is no indication that this was a murder,” reads Hutchinson’s statement, “We are going to conduct a thorough investigation to conclude that belief but it will be several months because we have to await a toxicology report and investigators have to conclude other aspects of the investigation.”
Update 9:00 pm
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the investigation was regarding an adult woman who died inside the residence.
Palm Springs police confirmed that the person who cleans the pool at the home found the woman in the pool area.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of the death, check back for any updates.

A death investigation was underway at a residence in the area of E. Alejo Road and N. Arquila Rd in Palm Springs, as confirmed by the Palm Springs Police Department.
Palm Springs Police are on the scene and have set up crime scene tape around the residence. An animal control officer was seen entering the residence with a restraining pole to remove a dog from the home.
