Coroner identify woman found dead in Palm Springs hot tub

Authorities today released the name of a woman found dead in the hot tub of a Palm Springs home.

Renea Sanabria, 53, of Palm Springs, was found at 11:51 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1000 block of Alejo Road, according to the county coroner’s office.

Authorities have not released information regarding her cause of death, though Palm Springs police said they currently don’t believe foul play was involved. An autopsy was performed earlier this week.

Palm Springs police Sgt. William Hutchinson said a thorough death investigation was ongoing in order to determine whether their initial findings bear out.
