Air Canada to provide Palm Springs-Calgary service

Air Canada today announced new daily seasonal flights between Calgary and Palm Springs International Airport beginning Oct. 28.

The new route was expected to satisfy increased demand both locally and from customers connecting off international flights, according to Air Canada.

Benjamin Smith, president of Passenger Airlines at Air Canada, said the airline was “pleased to offer additional convenient travel options to Albertans between Calgary and Palm Springs.”

Ticket for the flights are available on aircanada.com and through travel agents.

“Air Canada’s decision to add a daily flight during our 2018 season is outstanding news that will surely bring a boost to our local economy,” City Manager David Ready said.
