Man dead after altercation in Thermal identified
Riverside County Coroner’s office identifies the man found dead following a family altercation in Thermal.
Monday morning, deputies found Alejandro Rodriguez being restrained by family members while responding to a family disturbance call at a home in the 65000 block of Harrison Street.
Rodriguez was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries he sustained “prior to the family altercation,” Sgt. Ben Ramirez said.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later, the coroner’s office confirmed.
Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and Thermal sheriff’s station are investigating the cause of Rodriguez’s death.
