Palm Desert baseball spoils DVL debut for Shadow Hills’ new head coach Coco Crisp

Former MLB player Coco Crisp made his DVL debut as head coach for Shadow Hills on Monday afternoon as the Knights fell to defending champion Palm Desert 5-0.

Crisp is in his first season as head coach at Shadow Hills after playing 15 years in the big leagues and winning a World Series championship in 2007.

The Aztecs won the game behind a strong outing from senior starting pitcher Travis Adams who is committed to Sacramento State.

After falling in the CIF-SS D2 champions game at Dodger Stadium last year, the Aztecs are in Division 1 for the first time this season.
