‘Desert Ice Castle’ in Cathedral City files for bankruptcy.
‘Desert Ice Castle’ filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy Friday in United States Bankruptcy Court. The ice rink opened in September 2011, it’s still the only year-round ice rink in the Coachella Valley.
It is owned by two-time Olympian and six-time World Competitor Anthony Liu, who also serves on the coaching staff for the ice rink.
We reached out to Liu who told us he has no comment at this time.
