Average Riverside County gas price resumes increasing
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.589, one day after a run of 12 increases in 13 days ended with a decrease of three-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 2.8 cents more than one week ago, 9.9 cents higher than one month ago and 61.1 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 51.6 cents since the start of the year.
The average price rose 6.3 cents during the run of 12 increases in 13 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
