Woman suffers major injuries in Rancho Mirage crash
A woman suffered major injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Cathedral City.
The crash was reported shortly after 6:30 on the Bob Hope / Interstate 10 westbound on-ramp.
Officers on scene said the woman ran a red light going southbound and hit another car going left onto the highway. The turning vehicle then hit the car also turning next to it.
Officers said all three drivers were transported to the hospital. We do not know the condition of the turning drivers at this time.
The ramp is expected to be back open at around 8 pm.
