Former Palm Desert state champion wrestler Mantanona earns spot on Junior World Team

2017 Palm Desert HS grad and California State Champion wrestler Anthony Mantanona competed in the finals of the Greco World Team qualifier in Indianapolis. It was a best of three round final and the current Oklahoma Sooner won the first 14-12 following that up by taking his opponent down with a fall in 1:11 to earn a spot on the Junior World Team that will compete this September in Slovakia.
