Palm Springs mayor under investigation over camera use in his office

Palm Springs Mayor Robert Moon is now under investigation for using a personal surveillance camera in his office.

City employees complained about the matter in April and Moon was made aware of the complaints in June. Since we first broke the story, the city is now taking steps to see if anything criminal took place. Last night at the city council meeting, the council unanimously voted for an investigation, meaning Moon himself voted in favor of the investigation, saying he has nothing to hide.

Tonight at 5 p.m. on News Channel 3 and 5:30 p.m. on CBS Local 2, we take a look at the latest cloud of controversy surrounding city hall and speak with Mayor Moon.
