Police continue search for alleged drug supplier from Coachella
On Wednesday, News Channel 3’s evening anchor Karen Devine joined the DEA and multiple law enforcement agencies as they targeted several homes in the Coachella Valley. The investigation was centered on a significant methamphetamine distribution network.
11 arrests were made in connection to the transportation cell.
Raul Lopez Valenzuela was one of the 11 captured yesterday in Coachella. According to the DEA, Valenzuela is responsible for sending narcotics to local sellers, as well as to customers in other states.
Law enforcement is looking for Antonio Zamora of Coachella. He is also known as “Foca,” and is currently a fugitive and allegedly a supplier of narcotics for the drug organization.
“This is a heck of a hit for here in the Coachella Valley allowing us to get a transportation cell off the streets and also having an effect of removing some firearms that were part of the overall investigation,” said Frank Pepper, an assistant special agent in charge for the DEA.
During the course of the investigation, over 50 pounds of methamphetamine and four firearms were seized. If you have information on Zamora’s whereabouts call (213) 621-6700.
