Desert Hot Springs business plans fundraiser for Holy Fire relief efforts

A Desert Hot Springs business plans to spend its opening day raising funds for relief efforts associated with the Holy Fire.

A representative for the Quick Quack Car Wash said it will match donations dollar-for-dollar on Tuesday, August 14th. The business will then gift the money that is raised to the American Red Cross, which is providing aid for evacuees.

Residents are encouraged to drop off cash or to make check donations. The event will go from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the new location at 13787 Palm Drive location.
