Palm Springs seeks residents to fill vacant city commission seats

The city of Palm Springs put a call out today for residents interested in serving on more than a dozen city boards and commissions.

Locals have until Nov. 1 to apply for available positions on a volunteer basis.

The following boards and commission have available positions:

Administrative Appeals Board; Palm Springs International Airport Commission; Board of Appeals (Building); Board of Library Trustees; Historic Site Preservation Board; Human Rights Commission; Measure J Commission; Parks and Recreation Commission; Personnel Board; Planning Commission; Public Arts Commission; Architectural Advisory Committee; Rent Review Commission; Sustainability Commission; and VillageFest Board.

Anyone interested in applying should submit at application to the city clerk’s office at Palm Springs City Hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.
