Person & 2 dogs rescued from La Quinta canal
Cal Fire firefighters rescued a person and two dogs from a canal in La Quinta.
According to Cal Fire, the incident was reported at 2:16 p.m. west of Avenue 54 and Jefferson Street.
The victim was warmed in an ambulance and refused further medical treatment. The dogs did not require additional care, Cal Fire confirmed.
