Parolee arrested for alleged vehicle theft

A 27-year-old parolee was arrested for an outstanding parole violation and on suspicion of auto theft, authorities said today.

About 3 p.m. Thursday, members of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served an arrest warrant at a home in the 46000 block of Harrison Place in Coachella and located a documented gang member with a stolen vehicle at the location, said Sgt. Paul Heredia of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Noe Holguin of Indio was arrested and booked at the Indio Jail, Heredia said.

The nature of the parole violation was not disclosed.

Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle was asked to call Task Force Officer Chacon at (760) 836-1600.
