Wet N’ Wild Palm Springs sold; will be closed for 2019 season

Wet N’ Wild Palm Springs has been sold to Pono Acquisition Partners I, LLC, water park management announced today.

Premier Parks, LLC. the previous owner of the water park, also announced that the new owners plan to renovate the park. Those new renovations are expected to be significant and will require the park to remain closed for the 2019 operating season.

“Due to extensive renovations at Wet ‘n’ Wild Palm Springs in 2019, we are not able to open for the
upcoming season. All those who have already purchased a 2019 season pass will be mailed a refund
based on their original form of payment,” said James L. Dunlop, CEO of Pono Partners.

More information is expected to be released later in the year. The park is scheduled to reopen in 2020 as a “brand new experience.”

Details of the sale were not disclosed in the announcement.
