Eight ‘seemingly random’ businesses vandalized in Palm Springs

Palm Springs Police Department detectives are investigating eight instances of overnight business vandalism.

At 5:00 a.m., PSPD began receiving multiple reports of windows being damaged and broken along Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. At least eight businesses between the 1400 block and the 400 block were hit, but the incidents are considered “seemingly random” according to a PSPD news release.

A witness described the suspect vehicle as a white, older model Toyota Camry, possibly occupied by four juveniles. The witness said that the suspects appeared to use a BB gun to inflict the property damage.

PSPD is in the process of culling the area for surveillance footage.

Anyone with information relating to this case is urged to contact the PSPD Detective Bureau at 760-778-8411.

To issue an anonymous tip, contact Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.
