Deputies investigating early morning shooting in Thermal
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible drive-by shooting in Thermal Monday morning.
Deputies say they received a call of shots fired at around 2 a.m. on the 85500 block of Airport Boulevard. A web search showed the address is of an equestrian center that hosts horse jumping events.
When deputies arrived, they did not find any victims.
Deputies say the suspect vehicle remains outstanding, and no one has been taken into custody yet.
Callers to News Channel 3 said the shooting happened as a rapper YG, Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson of Compton. took the stage at a Coachella after party. Witnesses said people were jumping out windows and running for cover.
