Pedestrian struck & killed by vehicle on Indian Canyon in Palm Springs
The Palm Springs Police Department shut down a major roadway south of Interstate 10 for several hours Thursday evening following a fatal traffic collision.
A pedestrian was struck by a motorist at N. Indian Canyon Road and 20th Avenue.
Police did not have any more details on the collision but did confirm a pedestrian was killed. The identity of the victim was not available at the time. It won't be released until after next of kin is notified.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
There were no details available on what led to the crash.
