Two Men On The Run After Store Armed Robbery
CATHEDRAL CITY – A search is underway for two armed men who held up a market in Cathedral City Friday afternoon.
According to Cathedral City Police, the incident happened at the El Toro Loco market on Ramon Road between Roundup Road and Cathedral Canyon Drive at 12:45 p.m.
CCPD tells News Channel 3 that two masked men, one of them armed with a rifle, entered the store and demanded money. The man with the rifle shot towards the floor but hit the meat counter.
There were several customers, vendors, and employees in store at the time of the robbery.
The men escaped the store. Police did not say what was taken. No one was hurt during the robbery.
