22 Jobs Up For Grabs At Bighorn Golf Club
PALM DESERT – Hundreds of Valley residents lined up for the chance at 22 jobs. The Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert held a job fair Tuesday in preparation for the new season.
The club is looking for positions ranging from bartenders and cooksto greens keepers and fitness trainers.
More than 600 people showed up.
“I know there’s a lot of anxious people that are ready and willing to work and there’s very few jobs out there, so hopefully we’ll give them an opportunity today,” said Norma Castaneda with Bighorn Golf Club.
The job fair comes at a good time. California’s unemployment rate is at a whopping 11.9 percent.
