Ashley Brown

Ashley was born and raised inIndianapolis, Indiana, a place known for its exciting weather. Growing upshe became fascinated withthunderstorms, blizzards and tornadoes.

Her fascination withsevere weather took her to Indiana’s Ball State University where she studied Meteorology and Communications. While in college, she received a job offer at Radio One Indianapolis where she became a radio personality known for regular weather updates on her show.

Ashley workedin radio for over five years before joining the KESQ First Alert weather team in 2008.

Ashley enjoystalking to people about forecasting and how weather works. She believes weather is achallenging and exciting subject everyone likes to talk about. She loves hearing people talk about the storms they’ve witnessed. Ashley looks forward to spending more time talking with News Channel 3 HDviewers about weather.
