Mike Daniels

Mike Daniels is areporter for News Channel 3 HD at 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

Mike returned to the desert in 2009 after spending two years at KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado. His passion for news started at young age. Ever since then, hededicated his life to journalism. In 2006, Mike graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Mike enjoys telling local stories with a focus onthe viewer.

Mike has won several awards including two William Randolph Hearst Awards for his reporting. Mike most recently sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with Republican Presidential candidate Senator John McCain. Mike was born in Kansas but he considers himself a native of Arizona.

When he is notreporting, Mike enjoys the outdoors, traveling, volunteering in the community, going to church and spending time with his family.
