Polo Moisture Moves East as the Coachella Valley Begins Warming Up

Today will be the coolest day of the week across the Coachella Valley, with highs in the low 90s following a few light overnight showers--courtesy of tropical moisture from Hurricane Polo.

As Polo crosses Baja this afternoon, its moisture will continue shifting east of SoCal, allowing clouds and humidity to gradually decrease this evening. Additional rainfall is unlikely, though an isolated shower near the mountains can’t be completely ruled out.

Temperatures begin climbing tomorrow, reaching low 100s Wednesday and late week. High pressure will keep our highs near the century mark through the weekend and maybe even into early next week.

I'm also watching a few breezy west winds near the San Gorgonio Pass that should begin easing up this evening.
