School Bus Carrying Children Involved In Morning Accident

PALM SPRINGS – Seven students from Katherine Finchey Elementary School were treated and released at Desert Regional Medical Center, this morning after their school bus was hit by another car. The driver of the car was also transported.

In all, 28 students were on board when the accident happened along the 500 block of N. Farrell, just north of Alejo around 8:15, this morning.

The cause of the collision is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
