Hwy. 74 Motorcycle Crash Saturday AM

PALM DESERT – A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital after suffering critical injuries in a crash, a county fire official said.

The crash happened at about 7:40 a.m. today on Highway 74 near Vista Point in Palm Desert, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Lori Windsor.

Two fire engines and eight firefighters assisted in the crash, which involved no other vehicles,. according to Windsor.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
