‘Safe Ride Home’: Free Cab Rides From New Year’s Eve Festivities

COACHELLA VALLEY – Taxi rides will be provided to anyone in the Coachella Valley who may have had too much to drink and might exceed the legal alcohol limit.

The taxi rides will be provided one-way, from the place of pickup at the business establishment, to the passenger’s residence or final destination. Rides are not provided from one business or bar to another, and pre-arranged rides are not permitted. Restaurant and bar managers are asked to make the calls on behalf of the clients to coordinate the taxi rides.

Those in need of a ride or restaurant owners calling on behalf of customers should contact one of the following participating taxi companies to arrange for taxi rides:
