Supervisors Eye Date Palm/I-10 Interchange

RIVERSIDE -The Riverside County Board of Supervisors islooking at purchasing more land at Date Palm Drive and Interstate 10.

It’s for a new interchange project to expand the freeway to improve access to Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage.

The board has already approved spending $3 million on land near the current exit.

The plan is to build a “clover-leaf” interchange to improve traffic flow and widen the overpass from four to six lanes.
