Brittany Murphy Died Of Pneumonia, Drugs
LOS ANGELES -The Los Angeles County Coroner says actress Brittany Murphy’s death was caused by pneumonia and drug intoxication.
Murphy died in late December, stunning the American movie-going public.
On Thursday, the Coroner’s office released a statement said Murphy had “multiple drug intoxication” and that the matter of death was an “accident.”
The Coroner also says that Murphy had “community acquired pneumonia” and suffered from “iron deficiency anemia”.
Officials say the full autopsy report will be available within two weeks.
The Coroner’s Office was at Brittany’s home on Wednesday of this week looking at some of the things inside her home, which they thought may lead them to a more definitive cause.
