Man Killed In Hemet Vehicle Crash Identified

HEMET – A man killed in a vehicle crash in Hemet was identified Saturday.

Gary A. Buckley, 44, of Homeland, was driving a full-sized Chevrolet pickup truck on Stetson Avenue about 5:30 p.m. Friday when, witnesses said, he went through a red light at Cawston Avenue and collided with a woman driving a Scion on Cawston, said Hemet Police spokesperson Dan Reinbolt.

The truck spun and rolled over at least twice, and Buckley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, Reinbolt said.

Buckley died at the scene, Reinbolt said.
