Helen Wagner of ‘As The World Turns’ Dies At 91
Helen Wagner, who played Nancy Hughes on “As The World Turns” for more than 50 years has died.
She spoke the first words on the show when it premiered on April 2, 1956, and held the Guinness Book of World Records title for playing the same role on television for the longest amount of time.
Helen Wagner died Saturday. She was 91 years old.
